Declaration in two lines, three Oxford plumes above, date below mm. Oxford plume on obverse only (S.2954; N.2413; Morr A-1: Brooker - ; Bull ox. 596H) weight 15.15 grams
A remarkable and extremely rare so choice Oxford Halfcrown. This certainly amongst the finest examples known with exceptional eye appeal. The deep rainbow toning and prooflike surfaces radiat the lustre like no other 17th century Halfcrown i have handled. To find an example of such original quality is very rare. EF with an excellent horseman.
